USERDATA has been enhanced so that if you select type F, font specified in datafit.ini, the Windows font picker is opened and you are allowed to select a font. datafit.ini is then updated appropriately. This should make it much easier to select a custom default font.
Not all fonts work well as a default font, because the relative height and width may be different from that of the system font. Adding the line isometric=1 to the [trmw] section may help if you encounter this problem.
As well as updating the USERDATA program a small example program called FONTPICK is included in the download, together with the source code. You can add this source code to your own C programs to enable the user to change the default font for DP4. It is possible to specify a different default font for each program, and the source code allows for this possibility.
