It is now possible to compile and run QAB programs from within PROGMAKE. The "Build" button on the program flow diagram page brings up a menu with various options for compiling and running a QAB program. The run options would be more useful if you could specify the command line to be used in the event that you are editing a library or overlay rather than a main program or a QAB program that uses C exits. This facility will be added later.
There are options at various points to invoke the extract option of QABUTIL. This should be particularly useful if you want to extract part of a programs.
Beta software is supplied without warranty and should not be used in live sites without the agreement of Itim Technology Solutions. Compatibility with an eventual final release cannot be guaranteed.
Use MAPPOST to post the file PROGMAKE.M6 to your system database. To get the QABUTIL options to work properly you also need to download bug fix K4000040 .
