PROGRUN - Abandon Changes in Confirmation Dialog could cause System Error 136 - K4000021 - 12 Sep 2000

If a QAB program has a layout map with field 104, and the Confirm Updates option is selected somewhere in the program, then unless SAA Userdata had been selected (which disables these dialogs), then pressing escaping from or selecting abandon changes in the update confirm dialog , caused one of the DP4 C library internal stacks not to be popped. The tenth time this was done, the QAB program would over with System Error 136 "Too many nested calls to map_new_position()" .

DP4 Products/Versions Affected

All prior.

Where the version affected is given as 4.5xx or 4.6xx, all versions of DP4 issued prior to the date of the fix are potentially affected. Where a specific version number is given the problem was introduced by that release and prior releases are unaffected. If a patch release number is also specified (in parentheses) , the fault was introduced at that specific patch level.
