This section is used by the DP4 ODBC Driver. Most entries are usually specified on a per DSN (database connection) level in the [dsnname] section of the ODBC.INI file: the configuration dialog for creating DSNs sets them up.
The following entries are set in the configuration dialog. The values in the [odbc] section provide the initial defaults when setting up a new DP4 DSN. For exsiting DSNs any values missing from the [dsnname] section will take their value from the [ODBC] section also. Therefore adding values for these options to the DP4 configuration file may break existing DSNs created with an earlier version of the DP4 ODBC driver.
The following values are not set up by the configuration dialog, but may be set in either the appropriate section of odbc.ini or the [odbc] section of the DP4 configuration file.
