buttonstyle

[TRMW]
buttonstyle=0 or 1

Normally specified in [TRMW] only. This entry was introduced in the 4.613 release.

If 0 (default on Windows 3.1 and NT 3.5x) the border style used for buttons and VCR buttons is the same as is used by Windows 3.1.

If 1 (default on Windows 95 and NT 4) the border style used for buttons and VCR buttons is the same as is used by Windows 95.

If 2 (supported from 4.621) buttons are drawn using bitmaps called buttonup.bmp, buttondown.bmp, buttonactive.bmp, and buttondefault.bmp, stored in the dp4.sys directory. See Skinning DP4 for more information. (If none of these bitmaps is present the buttons are drawn as though buttonstyle 1 was in effect. If buttonup.bmp is present, but some other bitmaps are missing you will get a mess.)

From 4.622 four new values, 3 through 6 are available. With these values the appearance of a button will depend on whether or not there is an XP theme active or not, and possibly on the colour scheme of the button. The following table shows how the values are used.
