detect_ms_access

[ODBC]
detect_ms_access=1

If set to 1 the DP4 ODBC driver will behave as though curly_occurs was set to 1 if it detects that the client program is Microsoft Access.

In this case it will report column names for multi occurs fields using { and } round the occurs. Usually [ and ] are used, but Microsoft Access cannot cope with these characters in column names.

Access can be detected because it attempts to read a non-existent configuration table.
