If set to 1, the DP4 ODBC driver will report column names to match those that AUXORACL would expect to see on an Oracle database. In addition the data type for type M and U fields is reported as SQL_VARCHAR instead of SQL_CHAR, and the type of boolean fields may also be changed (see the bool_as char setting below).

This option is not intended for general use, but as a means of creating an Oracle Schema from a DP4 database. The column names reported by the ODBC driver when this option is in use are not understood by the DP4 SQL Engine, so you would have problems using a DSN configured like this.
