viewer

[TRMW]
viewer = view

Normally specified in named program section only (with QAB programs); processed when QAB programs are loaded or when a C application calls the trm_set_progname() function.

From 4.621, if use_viewer=1 then when a programs prints to the screen and is not using DFPRINT, then instead of immediately echoing all the print output to screen (as in previous versions), a temporary file is created. When the program closes the print output stream, the program specified in the viewer configuration setting is used to view the file.

Other suitable programs you can use for viewing files are DP4ED, or the Windows Notepad program, or even Microsoft Word. The latter programs give you a Find and Replace Function, but may not display box characters correctly.

Note that you can specify different viewers according to the program being used.
