Language information is edited using the DP4 MENUEDIT utility. To access this via the DP4 menu, select Configuration Utilities and then the User and Menu Management option, or for releases up to 4.620, select Other Facilities and then the Menu Facilities option.
Enter the name of any database on your system (the language table is automatically stored on the system database)
Select language 0. The Menu Editing Main menu is displayed
Select option 6 - Language table. The Language Maintenance dialog is displayed:
Enter the new language number. If you are not sure what language numbers are in use, press <Ctrl+P> to view the existing language numbers, then press <Esc> to enter a new language number
Answer 'Yes' to the prompt to add a new language and enter up to 16 characters for the 'Language name'. The remaining fields define the language preferences. Enter these as described in Selecting the Language Preferences
Click the OK button to save the language definition and press <Esc> to return to the Menu Editing main menu
Select option 8 - Exit, then press <Esc> several times to return to the DP4 System menu
