On the DP4 System Main menu, select the QAB facilities option
From the QA Build menu that is displayed, select the Interpreter option. The QA Build Interpreter screen is displayed and you are prompted to enter a database name. Type SALESORD, then press <Enter>. You are prompted to enter a program name:
Press <Ctrl+P> or click on the prompt button to pop up a list of QA Build programs on the database
Use the cursor keys to move between the programs. Highlight PROG3, and the program description "Customer number enquiry" is displayed
Press <Enter> to select and run the program PROG3. This is a simple program which displays a selected record on the CUSTOMER table. The first screen of the program is displayed. The cursor is positioned in the CUSTOMER NUMBER field:
Enter the number 1, and press <Enter>. The details for customer 1 are shown. Press any key when you have finished viewing the record. On the customer number field, enter any existing record number (between 1 and 60) and DP4 shows the customer details
Press <Esc> to exit the program, and return to the DP4 System menu
