Load the QA Build interpreter as described in Running a QA Build Enquiry Program
Select and run PROG2. This is an example DP4 program that updates a database table. The program screen is displayed. The cursor is positioned in the first entry field
Enter an existing customer record number (between 1 and 60) and press <Enter>, and DP4 displays the customer record
You can take one of three actions when a record is displayed:

Select Amend to modify the customer details. DP4 positions the cursor in the first non-key field, in this case, the customer name field
You can navigate round the fields on the screen using the keyboard or mouse.
Amend the customer details, then press <Enter> on the last
field. When DP4 prompts you to save the changes, select option 1 -
Save changes:

To delete a customer record, enter an existing customer number and press <Enter>. Select option 2 - Delete. Answer 'Yes' to confirm the changes
To add a new customer record, press <Enter> to accept the next free record number. The Insert/Search/Rekey menu is displayed:
Select option 1 - Insert, enter a new customer number and address, and fill in the credit and balance fields. For the 'Sales region' field, press <Ctrl+P> to pop up a list of region codes. When you complete the screen, DP4 displays the Save/Rekey/ Abandon Changes menu:
Select option 1 - Save changes
Press <Esc> to return to the QA Build Program Writer
