Selecting a Menu Page

1. Menu Pages are worked on using the MENUEDIT utility. To access this via the DP4 menu, select Configuration Utilities and then the User and Menu Management option, or for releases up to 4.620, select Other Facilities and then the Menu Facilities option.

2. If you are creating or editing an application menu, enter the name of the database. If you are modifying the System menu, enter the name of the system database

3. Enter 0 for the language number, unless you are developing a multi-language application. The Main Editing menu is displayed

4. Select option 1 - Select page. The Menu editor prompts you for the number of the page:

   • To create a new page, enter a new number (1 if you are creating the first menu), and answer 'Yes' to the prompt to add the page to the database
   • To edit an existing page, press <Ctrl+P> to select from a pop up list
     
     

   The Map Editor is launched showing the selected menu (which will be blank if it is a new one)
