There are three ways of specifying the language preferences:
System language
Set up the language preferences that are used for all programs run
from the command line without the logon facility. This is described
later in Changing the System
Language Preferences
Language table
Set up the preferences for all users that have the language
selected in their setup. The language preferences are read from the
language table when a user logs onto the menu system or application
program. The language table preferences are described later in
Changing the
Language Table Preferences
User preferences
Override the language preferences for a user. The user preferences
are read from the user table when the user logs onto the menu
system or application program. The user list preferences are
described later in Changing the User
