Starting the Data Entry and Enquiry Utility

1. On the DP4 menu, select the Other facilities option.

2. Select the Database Browser or Browse Database option, then tner the database name.

3. Press <Enter> and type a table name, or press <Ctrl+P> to pop up a list of tables on the database. If you do the latter, use the cursor keys to highlight a table name and press <Enter> to select it

   If there are records in the table, DP4 displays the first record in the table, and the message "Record Status: Existing record".

   If there are no records in the table, DP4 shows the field headings and the message "Record Status: Empty Table".

   To scan the records in the table, use the <←> and <→> keys.

   To move to the menu bar without selecting an option press <Esc>.

   To select an option, press its mnemonic letter, move the cursor to it and press <Enter> or click on it with the mouse.

   To exit from the Database Browser, select the Exit option.
