DP4 gives you the option to change the language that is used for development. In particular, you can specify table and field names in the language of the developer. For example, for French and German speaking developers, you can specify the name of the CUSTOMER table as CLIENT and KUNDE in those languages.
When the developer logs onto the system, the words for 'yes' and 'no' and the date format will automatically be selected from the language table. You have the option to translate the maps used by the DP4 system into the developer's language. If you do translate the system maps, it is recommended that you do not change the fields on the maps in any way.
