DP4 supports output to a graphics monitor under several operating systems:
DP4 for Windows makes use of the graphical environment to support push buttons, radio buttons, check boxes, edit controls and list boxes. You can add title bars, borders and icons to maps. DP4 also supports copying and pasting between applications and the use of the Windows Print Manager.
Running in graphics mode for the MS-DOS operating system, DP4 supports the display of bitmap graphics. In addition, you can display double-height, double-width characters anywhere on the screen. The double-size character is also available on some FlexOS and OS/2 platforms. A Microsoft Windows like implementation is also available for MS-DOS
A prototype X Windows version of the user interface manager is available on Linux. Currently this supports check boxes and push buttons, and a few standard icons.
