Before deleting a map, we recommend that you preview it with Open Mapset from the File menu to ensure that it is the right one.
To delete a map:
Select Delete Map from the File menu. The Delete Map dialog appears, containing details of the current map, if there is one. You can, of course, choose to delete any map.
Fill in the dialog, specifying the database, mapset,language and map number, then click OK to delete the map.
If you have versions of a map set up in more than one language and want to delete it in all language variants you may find it easier to use MAPMAKE and enable the "multi language" option and then select the map and delete it from within MAPMAKE.
