As with deleting a map, we recommend you preview the mapset with Open Mapset from the File menu to ensure that it is the right one.
To delete a mapset:
Select Delete Mapset from the File menu. The Delete Mapset dialog appears, containing details of the current mapset, if there is one. You can, of course, choose to delete any mapset:
Fill in the dialog, specifying the database, mapset and language, then click OK to delete the mapset.
If a mapset exists in several language variants and you want to delete them all, you may find it more convenient to use MAPMAKE. MAPMAKE is also convenient if you want to delete all the mapsets for a particular language.
