Select Open Database from the File menu, or (from 4.622) press Ctrl+B. The Open Database dialog appears.

An error message stating that 600 map structures are not supported means that you are trying to open a database whose mapsets have not been converted for use with the new Map Editor: To upgrade the mapsets, run the FIXDB23 program against the database, as described in the DP4 4.600 Release Notes.
