When input is returned, the variable ip_source is set to indicate which input subdevice was used provided multiple input sources are possible. The value of ip_source corresponds to the specific number of the input subdevice. Multiple input sources are defined with a mask, this value relates to one element in that mask.
QAB does not not ask for the input source if only one input device is permitted.
