Selecting a POD (C Programs)

Output will only be routed to a POD following a call to dvc_choose() or dvc_open(). Once this is done you may switch between PODs belonging to the selected Device Group using the following call:

int dvc_set_subdevice(int POD)

This function selects and initialises the POD, specified in numeric form. (You can use DFSETUP to generate appropriate defined constants as described in Accessing an OSDI from DP4 C Programs.)
