The maps and messages generated by the Program Editor and AutoQAB (when you select General or Specific message) are generated from maps 700 to 743 of the PROGMAKE mapset on the system database. If you want to customise or translate these message maps into another language, you only need to change the system maps.
You can generate maps for more than one language by using the DP4 language facility. Add maps 700 to 743 for each of the languages you are using. To generate messages for more than one language, log on as a user in the next language and re generate the maps.
The maps generated by AUTOQAB can be modified in the same way, except that it is not possible to generate maps automatically for more than one language (unless you have translated your database field headings using MAKEDB). For further information, refer to the section Automatic Program Generation.
