The Map Assignment Menu works just like the Message Assignment Menu except that it does not have any options to generate a map automatically. Refer to the Message Assignment Menu for a more detailed explanation of the options available.
It is displayed whenever you get to a point in your program where you can display or use a map from the current main mapset.You use option 1 (Map Number) to choose a different map number from the default for a new map, or to reuse a previously created map, and option 7, to enter the Map Editor.
