If your procedure body is to read parent records, you must set up Related Table Processing. A list of the parent tables for the main table will be displayed when you enter this part of the Program Editor.
Tables for which Related Table Processing already exists are marked with a *. Parents linked via other tables are indicated by the => symbol.
Use the cursor keys or mouse to highlight a table to work on. Click on the buttons at the foot of the screen to select an action to be applied to the selected table as shown.

| Validate/Auto set up |
Use this option to set up automatically the validations usually performed when records on the main table are updated. The comments relating to Generate Parent Checks should be borne in mind when using this option to set up processing for a new parent table. |
