Inititialising Printing at Startup

The output destination for printing in a QA Build program can be selected using the Output devices option in the main Program Editing Functions menu. If you select Initialise printer/file output in the program summary, the print device will be initialised when the program loads and released when the program terminates. You cannot select another print device in the same program, but you can control the device by selecting other subdevices, assuming the print device is configured appropriately.

To select a print device in the program summary:

1. In the Program Editing Functions menu select Program Summary
2. Enable the Initialise printer/output file option
3. Complete the dialog to return to the Program Editing Functions menu
4. Select Output devices to open the Default Output Devices Dialog
5. Select the required combination of output devices by completing this dialog as described in Default Output Devices.
