You can load REPSETUP from the command line or from the system menu. In general, you want the user to use the menu with the command tails already set up by you.
The following command tails can be appended to REPSETUP to specify the database and Report Writer programs:

−DB <database_name> |

−PARA <name> |
} |

−ALL |

The command tails that restrict the action of REPSETUP are:

−HELP |

Output to files and devices is controlled by these REPSETUP command tails:
Command Tail |
Purpose |
−SCREEN |
Direct output to the screen |
−FILE <name> |
Send output to the named file |
−DEVICE <name> |
Send output to the named device |
−PRINTER |

−QUIET |

If the output device is set up at the REPSETUP phase, you are not prompted for it when you run REPPRINT. Devices specified in the command line override those set up in REPSETUP.
The device for listing errors is assumed to be the same as for listing the output, unless otherwise specified. The default action which REPSETUP takes on failure is to ignore it. If you wish it to do something else, you need to specify this in a REPPRINT command tail.
The default action for delete programs is test only, so that no deletion takes place.
