Loading REPPRINT from the DP4 System Menu

REPPRINT can be accessed from the DP4 menu as follows:

From Release 4.621

1. From the DP4 System menu, select option 5 - Other standard facilities.

2. Select Import/Export and Reporting facilities:

3. To run REPPRINT, choose Run Report Writer programs.

Earlier Releases

1. From the DP4 System menu, select Other standard facilities.

2. Select Report Writer facilities.

3. To run REPPRINT, choose Run Report Writer programs.

Choosing the Report to Print

• Once you have started the REPPRINT program, you are asked to specify which database you wish to use. Then you must indicate which program you wish to run. Press <Ctrl+P> to call up a list of available programs. Depending on the type of program and the options you chose when you created the program you may be asked a number of supplementary questions

  While REPPRINT is running the program, messages appear on screen telling you the number of:

  • Records processed
  • Records extracted
  • Sort passes required
  • The current sort pass

  The report is then output to the device(s) you have specified.
