All that is left to do is to specify the field processing that will control the contents of the EMPLOYEE fields you have added to the map. Although we wont do so, it is also possible to use field processing to change the contents of database and local fields that are not displayed on the map.
1. Select the Field Processing.
2. QA Build can automatically set up the necessary field processing
from the fields in the map you have just created. Your map contains five fields,
EMPLOYEE_NUMBER, NAME, GENDER, GRADE and DATE_OF_BIRTH. QA Build assumes that they are all
input fields. It knows that EMPLOYEE_NUMBER is the record key and that once you have
filled in the employee number it can fetch the record and display the appropriate data in
the other fields. In this example, its assumptions are correct and you can let QA Build do
the work for you by selecting Generate field processing.
Later you will learn how to add further processing for initialising, totalling and
validating fields
