This tutorial is aimed at first-time users who want to start producing applications with QA Build. It is organised into a number of easy-to-follow exercises that guide you through the creation of a variety of QA Build programs. As you follow these exercises you will learn the principles of programming with QA Build in a task-oriented manner. No previous experience of using QA Build is assumed, but a basic understanding of DP4 database concepts, such as tables, roles, fields, key fields and indexes is necessary to gain the full benefit of the exercises. If you lack this, you are recommended first to read the Database Design section of the DP4 Developers Manual.
