DP4 for Windows Installation Guide

This guide tells you how to install and configure DP4 for 32-bit and 64-bit Microsoft Windows. If you are installing 4.621 or a later release of DP4 on a machine with DP4 already installed and you use the DP4 installation program then you do not really need to read this guide, because the installation program will preserve existing information when you install a new release of DP4 over your existing installation.

1. Please check the Requirements page before attempting to install DP4.

2. If you are installing on a 64-bit version of Windows or on a version of Windows later than Windows XP then check the Platform Specific Considerations page before attempting to install DP4.

3. The installation procedure may be slightly different if you are running a version of Windows with a Citrix product such as Winrame or Metaframe installed, or on NT Terminal Server edition, or Windows 2000 or later with Terminal Services installed. In case of doubt please refer to the second link below.
   • Installing DP4 for Windows (For most 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows except for Windows CE versions)
