These notes were created for Citrix WinFrame 1.6, and may not apply to later Citrix products. If you find that the special instructions here don't work on your machine, then you probably do not need to worry, unless you are trying to install a pre 4.620 version of DP4.
Before installing DP4 on WinFrame read the notes on "General Installation of Applications on WinFrame". These notes can be found in the WinFrame for Networks Help System/Application Notes. You can access the help system by double clicking the WinFrame Help icon in the Main program group.
Open a command prompt
Switch the server to install mode using the change user /install command
Run the DP4 install procedure, as for regular Windows NT
Switch the server back to execute mode using change user /execute
To make the service accessible to the WinFrame clients, switch to the directory where the DP4 executables are located and run register syslibt.dll /system. This step is not necessary to run Windows 2000 Terminal Services clients. However in that case you require a version of syslibt.dll dated 7 Jun 2001 or later.
The DP4 system is now installed and ready for use.
