depth=calculated value

Processed when QAB programs are loaded or when a C application calls the trm_set_progname() function.

depth is the depth of the client area of the main program window. If this is not specified then the value is defaulted in one of two ways:

• If use_workarea=1 (available from 4.620) then the client area depth matches that of a maximised window.
• Prior to 4.620 or if use_workarea=0 the default depth is calculated as rows * y_factor.
  
  

This value is updated when a program terminates. To prevent updating make the DP4 configuration file read only or set save_position=0.
